What did we do
Hows Business provide free business advice and support for the 50,000-plus small businesses in York, North Yorkshire and East Riding. They are one of many UK government-funded Growth Hubs, but tailored to Yorkshire’s needs.
Hows came to us with a view to re-developing key areas of their website. The previous agency were not experienced with Umbraco website builds so unfortunately the site was not developed using any best practice techniques.
The site had major SEO and user engagement issues so we developed a plan with Hows to redevelop key areas and redesign some of the pages upon the site to be more engaging.
During this, we also migrated them to a new server hosting platform which in turn with our performance enhancements, has resulted in typically sub 1 second page load times.
