Pricing and working with us

Do you work with companies in the USA?

The short answer

Yes, and not as an occasional exception. We run a working setup built specifically for US clients, with a four hour daily overlap with East Coast hours, so your morning meetings are our afternoon and questions get same-day answers rather than overnight silences. The commercial appeal is straightforward: UK agency rates, from £80 an hour with a £500 day rate, are meaningfully lower than equivalent US agency pricing for the same Umbraco Silver Partner expertise, one of fewer than 150 such partners worldwide. Contracts are signed online through Onboardo in minutes, we invoice in GBP, and the time difference becomes an advantage: work you brief in your afternoon is often finished while you sleep.

US companies find us for two reasons: Umbraco specialists are thinner on the ground in the American market, and UK rates buy considerably more expertise per dollar. The question is always whether the distance works day to day. Here is how we have made it work.

The hours

Our working day is arranged to give a four hour overlap with the East Coast, every day. That is enough for stand-ups, planning calls and the how-is-it-going conversations that keep a project healthy. Outside the overlap, the time difference works in your favour: brief something at the end of your day and it progresses while your office is closed. Clients consistently report this feels faster than working with an agency in their own time zone, because there is always motion.

The commercial side

Rates are our standard UK ones: development from £80 an hour, £500 a day, retainers from £500 a month, and the fixed price Umbraco 13 to 17 upgrade at £8,999 plus VAT where it applies. Invoicing is in GBP. For most US buyers the exchange rate makes this a significant saving against domestic agency pricing, with no compromise on seniority: the people on your work include an Umbraco MVP and an Umbraco Certified Master.

The practical machinery

Contracts sign online through Onboardo, our own platform, so there is no international paperwork friction. Communication runs on whatever your team already uses. And Umbraco itself is the same platform on both sides of the Atlantic; more than 200 sites of experience travels well.

We keep a dedicated page for American clients at Umbraco development for the USA, covering how engagements typically run. If you want to test how the overlap feels in practice, book a call; we will schedule it inside your working day, not ours.
