Pricing and working with us

How do we get started with you?

The short answer

Three steps. First, tell us what you need through our contact page, in whatever detail you have; a rough description is fine, and if you do not know what you need, describing the problem is enough. Second, we scope it and come back with a real number and a realistic timeline, drawing on published pricing wherever it applies: development from £80 an hour, retainers from £500 a month, the fixed price Umbraco 13 to 17 upgrade at £8,999 plus VAT. Third, the contract is signed online through Onboardo, our own platform, which takes minutes. Then the work starts. There is no discovery fee, no multi-meeting sales choreography, and the people you speak to are the people who will build it.

Buying agency services can feel like a project in itself: workshops before quotes, quotes that arrive as ranges, contracts that take longer than the work. We have stripped ours down to the parts that matter.

Step one: the conversation

Reach us through the contact page with whatever you have. Some clients arrive with a specification; most arrive with a problem, an ageing website, a vanished agency, an upgrade deadline, and that is entirely enough. If it is quicker to show us, send the site address. The reply comes from the people who do the work, an Umbraco MVP and a Certified Master among them, so the first conversation is already a technical one and questions get answered rather than parked.

Step two: the scope and the number

We look at what you actually have, ask the questions that change the estimate, and come back with a firm scope and a real figure, not a range designed to grow. Where published pricing fits your situation, that is what you pay: £80 an hour development, £500 day rate, retainers at £500, £950 or £1,800 a month, the 13 to 17 upgrade at a fixed £8,999 plus VAT. Larger projects split payment sensibly; the upgrade, for example, is 50/50.

Step three: the paperwork, briefly

Contracts sign online through Onboardo, our own contracting platform. You get a link, read it, sign in the browser, done; confidentiality is built into the contract, so there is no separate NDA stage. Signing to starting is typically days, not weeks.

If you are not ready yet

That is fine too. Browse our portfolio, read the rest of the FAQ, or ask us something small with no commitment attached. We have been doing this since 2008; we are comfortable with buyers who take their time.
